This app used to work great. Now, not so much. The "my balance" feature no longer works, requiring me to log in each time. When I try to use it, I get a message that it's been a while and I need to log in. This, even though I have logged in using both biometrics and password. I also had an experience where I left my phone in my car when I went into a store. I had more than enough cash in my account, yet my payment was repeatedly declined until I brought my phone inside. Then, it suddenly worked.
The app is great when it works. The past couple of weeks tho, it stops working and I have to reinstall it. There's no reason for it, it just stops accepting my account info. It was 5 star until this started happening. Edit: the app will stop taking my login info, stating that it is the wrong info and that my account will be locked. Then, with a reinstall it works fine. But I'm having to do that every few days now. Also, it will stop taking my thumbprint login first.
App used to be better, but now when I ask for a balance it tells me I haven't logged in for 30 days. after I have logged both from the app and my computer. Needs to be fixed. Here it several months later and it's still doing this. Have to delete the app then set it all back up. The app really needs some help.
The "deposit check" feature seems to be having trouble since the latest update. The "We can't read all the check data at the bottom" error is given on both iOS and Android and at various backgrounds and lighting. Other than this issue, I haven't experienced any trouble with this app.
I have never had a problem with the app. I love having easy access to my banking info with me at all times. It's easy to use and I can transfer money on the spot with no wait time. With Corona I love being able to deposit checks without having to go to the bank or touch an ATM. All in all as you can see I think it's a pretty good app.
FANTASTIC. I LOVE IT. I still feel that it's. I have one problem. I pay some of my monthly bills through my credit card. But I can never them the charge or credit. Why can't I see what I am being charge or credit for. Fix that and this web site would be cool. If not I am going to give you a 1/2 star. When ever something hit these account we should get noticefied. We make better security.
Very easy to navigate between accounts. Paying bills with autopay is great. Love reminders to pay bills before they become late. There is one part where they track your spending that I don't quite understand where they get that I overspend by quite a bit. I don't see it in my own accounting. Other than that I think it's an easy to understand app.
Looks like I am having the same problem as others still completely frozen for days now, I've done everything I know to fix it I have to get the banks help to remember all my information that I had stored and since forgot. AAHH! This happened a few months back as well. Please advise? Been waiting for an answer for a few days, new updated app? Thank you for looking into this.
Usually I do not have problems when using this app. Last week I had problems signing in when trying to make a payment. Yesterday, I could not log in at all. My acct was totally locked out the entire evening. I could not pay any bills that were due. Today I was still locked out, but it finally unfrozed. I had to reinstall the application, reenter my password and, then today I was able to sign into my account. I don't know what happened but, I hope it does not happen again.
Thank you for fixing! Frankly all of the ads and notifications on the front page is so annoying! I wish you would resort to emails for your promotions of features instead of forcing people to see them over and over again upon every login!! Otherwise the app is sufficiant and runs smoothly. And BofA as a whole is the best, we have been banking with you for many many years!!
I have been having trouble logging in for about 2 weeks now. I never had this issue before! The app freezes when I open it and it only allows me to sign in after I restart my phone...its getting very annoying to have to restart my phone everytime I want to access my account. PLEASE FIX THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!! Edit- I've already tried uninstalling and reinstalling it like twice and this issue still persists!!
Out of nowhere the app refuses to open! Now I see I'm not the only one. I too get 2 seconds of a blank white page and then it closes. It's been a fail since at least August 4. How a business like BoA can leave it's customers without mobile access is beyond me. Please send a courtesy memo to all your customers advising them of a potential issue to save them from wasting precious time trying to access their app, and fix this issue immediately! Unacceptable to do otherwise.
Update: I have used a third party blue light filter for years. The app developer responded right away and asked if I was using one. I shut it off and voila, no problems! The app was great.....and then an update changed everything! No matter where I touch on my screen, nothing happens! I Uninstalled it and after hitting accept on the pop-up screen, it is the same thing. Nothing. PLEASE FIX THIS!
Since app updated July 30/2021 it will not open and app has stopped. I've cleared the data cache, reset the phone,and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Same thing. I'm using an Android phone and it is version 7.0. I am unable to figure out how to change to 10.0 I have tried to do it as described on a YouTube video. The website works fine. Update. The version released on 8/4/21 works fine. Thank for the response.
It had been working great for years. Just suddenly began crashing every time it starts up. Uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted my phone, cleared cache and data, and gave it full permission. Would be nice if it gave an error instead of just crashing. If I get this working again, I would certainly give it a higher rating. 😉
